What is a Large-Format LCD Monitor? Has does it differ from a LCD monitor with high resolution?

While two monitors are 30 inches, one is a large format LCD with lower resolution and more expensive, and the other is a monitor with higher resolution but costs less. Please explain what does "large format" mean.

Large format monitors are normallly used for public displays. The resolution is lower than monitors normally used for pcs. This makes text and images larger because the pixels aren’t as close together.
