actually ,there are 2 models of G24 a 1080p and a 1200p ,,the 1200 p is out of production ,so most chance if you get it ,its 1080p

First of all 1200p would not be a downgrade. Second of all it’s not a common format because TVs use 16:9 as the “common format”! Computer monitors are going the same way because 16:9 monitors are cheaper to make than 16:10 monitors.
I really don’t understand why this is so complex for some of you people.
@pimpstenator its downgrade 1080p, there is no such thing as 1200p as a common format.

NO, this monitor only for game look better picture than other one.
DVi and analog for on PC and HDTV for PS3 and laptop use on monitor. If you dont have DVI on your video card than use blue plug analog and if you want DVI need upgrade video card come with DVI widescreen 16:9
What i brought this monitor G24 low price around $379.99 from in TigerDirect. i got has been.
VGA for blue plug analog some video card old version not have DVI that why. This monitor G24 both digital and analog automatic.
