Yes you can, i did this.You need a DVI to HDMI adapter. You just need to have separate speakers.

This option won't delete the password, it will only remove the option to be able to type in the password manually if the bio scanner isn't working.
Are you absolutely sure you want to do this? If your bio scanner is not functional or doesn't recognise your fingerprint etc you will be unable to gain access to the computer.
I wouldn't recommend it.
However, if you do want to proceed, the most likely place will be in the settings for the bio scanner. Open it up as if you want to configure your fingerprint setup, and the option should be in there under your existing account setup.

got a question. i tried to connet this monitor to my laptop via hdmi. The benq kept trying to connect to the pc, but no picture would show up, so to get the picture up on the screen i have to turn the screen on and off manually then i get a picture. Also, if i turn it on as the laptops booting up no picture will show. So i have to turn it off and turn it on when im on the desktop… I would appreciate it if someone would tell me if this is normal, (theres no sound when laptop>hdmi>monitor?!?!)

For the most part the majority of LCD Monitors sold now can display HD. So just buy anything current and u will most likely have HD capability.
On another note though your computer may not be sending HD or HD like signal. you may have to invest in a new Video Card along with other things if your pc cannot support a certain V card
I would first asked your friend if u can used his monitor and try to use it with ur pc. If it looks better then all u need is a new Monitor. If it looks the same then I would say its your pc hardware or ingame settings.
Also if your using a VGA cable see if your current or yoru future Video card/monitor takes DVI. (anything decent grade should have DVI) if it does have DVI option USE DVI over VGA
No way. Acers are terrible computers except for the extremely overpriced models. Their customer support is terrible and not worth the price of the computer. The build quality is no where near the quality of HP laptops. I have owned several of both and every time I have been disappointed by Acer.
